S.V.E.R. requires its Commandos to aggressively but silently move behind enemy lines, destroying targets and generally undermining the enemy's ability to engage S.V.E.R. forces. Commandos must prove their proficiency in silenced weaponry, electronic detection devices, airborne insertions, close quarters combat and knife work. The best Commandos are those who are able to secure mission objectives with only minimal assistance from supporting forces.
At a minimum, S.V.E.R. Snipers must demonstrate expertise in distance weaponry, including the designated rifle and anti-material rifle. S.V.E.R. Snipers distinguish themselves further by developing expertise in close quarters combat and knife work, often competing with members of the Commando class for honors of the best unarmed fighters in the platoon. This often proves invaluable as the Sniper attempts to quietly negotiate the battle zone in order to secure an ideal position for eliminating targets.
As soldiers who specialize in both capturing and holding critical objectives, Rapid Assault specialists must prove their expertise in both offensive and defensive techniques, depending on their current objective. These specialists must also prove their proficiency in a wide range of assault rifles, with assorted attachments, and grenades, including frag, flashbang, and poison gas. The Rapid Assault specialty also requires a commitment to physical conditioning that surpasses S.V.E.R.'s already impressive base requirement.
Direct Action specialists are experts in heavy weaponry and the destruction of hardened defensive positions. Often in a supporting role, these soldiers provide suppressing fire, anti-vehicle attacks and general destruction as conditions on the field warrant. In addition, S.V.E.R. requires its Direct Action specialists to exhibit superior physical strength in order to perform its duties in an exemplary manner.
Field Support technicians are required to exhibit extensive technical cross-training in medical skills, engineering, explosives, and electronic concealment. More than any other specialists, effective Field Support soldiers multiply their unit's combat force far beyond its base potential. Traditionally, the best Field Support technicians excel in at least 5 technical sub-specialties.
